Sustainability (Environmental Initiatives)

The environmental impact of plastics has increased in recent years, and we recognize that mitigating this impact is a challenge.
We are committed to our mission of pursuing sustainability in the plastic molding industry and will continue to actively and continuously work toward reducing our environmental impact, decarbonizing our operations, and achieving sustainable manufacturing activities.

Currently, we are particularly focusing on the following.

Resin recycling

Recycling most of the resin materials generated in the manufacturing process, including scrap materials, and processing them into raw materials reduces the amount of waste generated. In addition, we have been promoting recycling by separating waste resins inevitably generated by cleaning, etc. into the same material as much as possible for processing, and we have continued our efforts to reduce industrial waste plastics since the establishment of the company.

Biomass and Recycled plastics use

Promoting biomass plastics made from plant-based and natural materials to reduce petroleum-derived resin use, aiming for decarbonization and waste reduction.
We have introduced specialized molding machines and dryers to handle high-difficulty molding products, such as those with 100% biomass content.
And also incorporates recycled plastics to meet customer needs and reduce new plastic production and waste.

Energy efficiency

The switchover to electrically powered equipment for all molding machines was completed in December 2023. This will promote energy savings, as they are more energy-efficient than conventional hydraulic systems.

In addition, an electricity monitoring system has been installed in the plant facilities to promote efforts to prevent excessive electricity consumption.

Along with the above measures, various self-assessments are carried out to promote more practical initiatives.
